I read an article dated 06 December 2016 by Gareth Corfield (of TheRegister) entitled ‘The Investigatory Powers Act allows the State to tell lies in court‘.

I have to say Gareth’s article is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT, and it is nice to see that someone at TheRegister has the BALLS to actually document the obvious deficiencies in the IPA 2016.

Following on from other articles in the CHIS series:-

The Investigatory Powers Act allows the State to tell lies in court

Analysis The freshly passed Investigatory Powers Act, better known as the Snoopers' Charter, is a dog's dinner of a law. It gives virtually unrestricted powers not only to State spy organisations but also to the police and a host of other government...

So this actually means that the victim of the data exfiltration crimes, who then becomes the defendant in a fabricated case (figure that out) has to collect Exculpatory Evidence in a Forensically-Sound manner, to challenge the Chain of Custody!!

20161203 UPDATE

I read an article dated 30 November 2016 by Kieren McCarthy (of TheRegister) entitled UK’s new Snoopers’ Charter just passed an encryption backdoor law by the backdoor, in which he is expressing some disdain in relation to the UK’s Investigatory Powers Act 2016, which received Royal Assent on 29 November 2016.

I note the parts about (a) anti-encryption (b) surveillance, and (c) the fact that UK citizens appear to be ‘asleep at the wheel’ when their Fundamental Human Rights are being eroded.

My message to my fellow UK Citizens is a massive:-

Sixteen Years on 28 November 2000 almost to the very day, the same Kieren McCarthy wrote an inflammatory diatribe about me . I have dissected it here:-

McCarthy’s ‘insulting piece of flawed bullshit’ merely served to demonstrate the Igon Value Problem that many journalists suffer from, as well as the general lack of prescience about the real issues of Strong Encryption and Mass Electronic Surveillance.

And I love the way I am called Paranoid – that is a word used by fools to describe people who are Perceptive! And if my page’s url is genius.htm then perhaps there is a reason for – being 16yrs ahead of the UK Government would certainly suggest that!

Another TheRegister article from 29 November 2016 entitled ‘Investigatory Powers Act signed into UK law by Queen‘ by Alexander J Martin, refers to the paragraph “alongside a confession that successive British governments had been issuing secret directives to telcos to intercept Brits’ communications anyway.

I have MI5 to thank in part for my sparkling abilities 🙂

MI5 Put Me IN Business

I read an interesting article today about Mass Electronic Surveillance and was pleased that a fellow Fellow Kevin Cahill FBCS CITP has the courage to stand up for all of us...

and the NSA

The Daily Mail 28 November 2000

The article in the Daily Mail specifically stated:-

“Yesterday [Joe de Saram] claimed his expertise had made him ‘a thorn in Big Brother’s eye’. He said: ‘What I’ve developed will protect everyone’s personal emails. Can you imagine what this means to a Government which has just introduced legislation known as the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act with the intention of ordering anyone and everyone to reveal their email password whenever asked?

But it goes further than that. We know MI5 is building a multimillion pound facility to monitor all email sent and received in Britain. With my technology they won’t be able to read anything.'”

People said I was nuts about my calls being intercepted and electronic surveillance, a James Bond character or a Walter Mitty, but actually regardless of the label that the journalists chose, I WAS RIGHT:-

Questions that were never asked

But something that everybody missed and never explored is this:-

‘How DID Joe know from the mid-90s onwards that MI5 was planning a facility to monitor all email sent and received in Britain and that it was MI5 hacking his systems and intercepting his calls in the late 90s?’

If you can answer that question then you will know the type of clients I have, and also why I go to extraordinary lengths to obfuscate their identity. And over the years I have become better at identifying hostile threats/attack signatures against me and my pals.

So actually, all things considered I have to say ‘thank you’ to the government spooks – because MI5 Put Me IN Business!

Actually established in 2001:-

So what were the type of things I was doing from 1993 onwards?

So what were the type of things I was doing from 1993 onwards?

Legal Professional Privilege

And even now my legally privileged communications are blatantly intercepted:-

The collection of data between 1998 and 2015 was confirmed as illegal, in this article published on 17 October 2016 – but of course I already knew that 🙂

I think I will bring a massive damages claim against the parties concerned for the losses directly flowing from their unlawful collection of data and harassment of me around 1998-2000, which directly caused the demise of Rhodium PLC – and the losses for me and everyone else.

Thank you for specifically confirming that 1998-2000 is the period that I have been referring to for more than a decade 🙂

I published this LinkedIn article on 02 July 2016:-

In fact “I like to be ahead of the curve, especially if it is Hyperelliptic” – JSRDS

I am still writing this article so watch this space 🙂

20160914 INITIAL

I just read an interesting article in the Financial Times – I coined the term ‘Hadrian’s Firewall’ in 2000 when I was dealing with the issues of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act.

Seriously, I would be a better head of the UK National Cyber Security Centre. I would ensure that the agenda of politicians would not be placed before the wishes of UK Citizens – sorry who is Ciaran Martin again?

PS Please do not use my term ‘Hadrian’s Firewall’ without referring to me – I am going to be writing something about this later today 🙂
